National Goals & Accomplishments

OLS welcomes everyone to come to our Mass in the Park, to be held on Sunday, August 27th, at the Legacy Amphitheater in Memorial Park in Ladysmith. This event will replace the regularly scheduled OLS Sunday Mass and will begin at 10:45 AM. Immediately following will be a potluck picnic hosted by the OLS Parish Council of Catholic Women and local Knights of Columbus chapter.
Come early to share your time visiting with fellow parishioners. Guests from other parishes and faiths are welcome. Extra ushers and greeters will be on hand to assist people to their seats. Eucharistic ministers will be giving Communion at your seats. No kneeling will be required. There will be no Rosary at this event. A sound system is in place. This site is handicap accessible, and volunteers will be on hand to give assistance.
If you are able, please bring a picnic dish for the potluck. Sign-up sheets for what dish you’d like to contribute are in the OLS lobby. Otherwise, you are welcome to call PCCW leaders Shirley Sorenson at 715-403-2506 or Nancy Anderson at 715-415-4007. PCCW and the Knights will be providing a hot sandwich, utensils, and bottled water.
If rain is forecast for the time of Mass, the service will be held at the OLS church, with the potluck picnic to follow in the school gym.
We are excited to host this Mass for a late summer change of scenery, appreciating all that God gives us. We hope to see everyone there!
